Mr. Warren is a past-President of the Nevada Committee on Foreign Relations, which later merged into the Las Vegas World Affairs Council.  He co-founded the Consular Chamber of Commerce a not-for-profit, independent, global chamber of commerce; the Order of Consular Emissaries, a group of volunteers supporting Honorary Consulates; Dine With Dignitaries, hosting dignitaries at intimate dinners in many countries; Identify.nu, the Chamber’s proprietary global identity verification service, and;  countries.consul.cc, the Chamber’s proprietary global directory of local area information and mapping.

Jonathan went on to conceive and create the Office of the Legal Attaché of the Consular Chamber, and the Consultancy of the Consular Chamber.  He then gained acceptance of the Chamber as a institutional member of the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy, the first such member in the western United States.

Mr. Warren will be speaking on the catalysts and motives in forming the Consular Chamber, and the capabilities it brings to its membership.  He will also provide his opinions as to where the group will go under its present leadership.  The following afternoon, he will be moderating a panel of experts on Global Opportunity Zones.

Attorney Lloyd Baker appeared somewhat shocked at the size of the gathering in his law office at 500 S. 8th Street in Las Vegas on March 31, 2010.  The at-capacity crowd gathered for the open house launch of office space donated by the Mr. Baker to the Consular Chamber of Commerce, for use by member consuls either residing in, or visiting Las Vegas.

The event was also sponsored by Mundo ‘Culinary Haute Spot’ Restaurant, located just blocks away at World Market Center.  Mundo proprietor George Harris recently invited the Honorary Consul of Chile in Las Vegas, Paulina Biggs Sparkuhl, to choose Chilean wines for the menu at the restaurant.  Two of the four wines adopted for the Mundo menu were presented at this event, as well as a few of Mundo’s award-winning hors d’oeurves.

Consul Biggs Sparkuhl encouraged all to please patronize Mundo and have a glass of Chilean wine, making the point that each glass of wine poured was helping the Chilean economy recover from the disasterous recent earthquakes in the heart of the wine region.
